Removing clients from the ShelterPoint unit list is a relatively simple process that is required every time a client leaves your program.
To remove any clients, you will need to navigate to the Shelter Inventory Information page, which you can access by clicking "View All".
Single Clients
For our sample client, Christian Thompson, we will click the "Check Out" button in the column to the left of Date In.
Doing so, will take you to the Unit Exit Data page.
From here, you can backdate the client's exit date if necessary, and indicate whether the client has returned any borrowed supplies.
From there, you can simply click "Save and Exit".
Multi-person Households (Families)
When checking out households that have multiple people, you will need to go directly to the Head of Household's record.
In the case above, we have a woman with child, Peggy and Bobby Hill. We can just that due to Peggy's age, they are the head of household.
As such, we will be clicking the check out button on Peggy's record.
You are able to edit the date the client left, as well as if they returned supplies or not.
However, one important step that is necessary for any program working with multi-person households is to check off the remaining households members. In the above image, only Peggy's name is checked off. In order to remove the entire household successfully, we need to check off Bobby's as well.
With Bobby's name now checked, we can "Save and Continue".
