HMIS New User Training
These trainings are for new and returning users of HMIS. This is NOT a training to become a Skilled Assessor for Coordinated Entry.
The training will allow users to do project level data entry, monitoring and reporting. For example, if you work at an agency with funding for an emergency shelter project, and a homeless prevention project, you would user HMIS to do the data entry, monitor client cases and report on deliverables for those programs.
The New User Training will not, however, get you access to the Coordinated Entry System (or the Skilled Assessor's Project). That is a community wide project which does not hold project level data.
Trainings are hosted at the Department of Family and Support Services (DFSS), 1615 W. Chicago Ave., 2nd Floor Computer Lab.
There are currently no dates available for the full day new user training. For any ATAs looking to train new users, please refer to our article on how your users will be able to complete a hybrid online/in-person training.
